Physical Planning Division Permission

Moves towards the construction of the Sanctuary Rainforest Eco Resort and Spa in Dominica garnered the interest of the public as well as important local stakeholders, such as the Invest Dominica Authority and in particular, the Dominica Physical Planning Division.

The latter, the Government authority responsible for Development Control and processing applications for Planning Permission for the development of land, played a critical role in obtaining Government approval for the Sanctuary Rainforest Eco Resort and Spa as a development project under the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program.

To the Project Developer, Vital Developers Ltd., led by Alexander V Berenstain, the collaborative efforts of the Physical Planning Division played a vital role in ensuring that the Sanctuary Rainforest Eco Resort and Spa development project satisfied all local building requirements. This entailed the conduct of a series of Environmental Impact Assessments and thorough review of the Resort's original architectural plans and designs during which slight modifications were made to ensure that the Sanctuary Rainforest Eco Resort and Spa truly lived up to its name.

In February of 2019, a Physical Planning Permit, requested by Alexander V Berenstain, was successfully issued for the construction and development of the Sanctuary Rainforest Eco Resort and Spa, leading to the Dominica Government's decision to formally consent to this Project as a Government Approved Project under the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program, Real Estate Option.
